Strainers & foot valves

The strainers are available made of brass and are used to filter out coarse dirt with a stainless steel sieve from the media flow. The filter sieve can be taken out, cleaned, reused and are available in various filter porosities. Unfortunately the filter dimensions are not standardised, so a replacement filter normally fits a specific strainer. Please check the dimensions of the filter before ordering a replacement filter. The foot valves are used if liquid should be sucked up. The filter prevents penetration of coarse dirt and the check valve prevents the suction line from running empty after switching off the pump.
