Gaskets, safety caps & protective stoppers

Gaskets are used to seal cylindrical threads (in pneumatics mainly G-threads) on a level sealing surface. Material and design significantly influence the function and price of the gasket. In many standard applications plastic gaskets made of hard PVC are used. For aggressive media we recommend PTFE gaskets, while with high pressures (e.g. in hydraulics) gaskets made of copper, aluminium or special hydraulic gaskets with NBR inserts are mainly used. Tip: Captive gaskets and sealing rings for banjo bolt valves hold a screwed connection with banjo bolt together even in the disassembled state and can, if properly installed, save a lot of time and effort.
